Slices of yam now reportedly sold in Nigeria as food prices increase

The costs of food prices in the country has become a major cause of worry among citizens.

A Twitter user shared a photo of slices of yam been sold in the market.

According to the Twitter user by the name @a_vanita, four slices of yam are been sold for N200 in the market.

This is to allow persons who can not afford to buy a tuber of yam benefit.

Nigerians continue to complain of the devastation of the economy as many are beginning to relocate to neigbouring countries.
