Twitter Ban: African Presidents will always remind the world what a real dictator looks like - Trevor Noah

Comedian and anchor of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah has joined many others to criticise President Muhammadu Buhari for suspending Twitter operations in Nigeria.

Trevoh Noah was of the opinion that the ban was meant to prove a point that when the most powerful person in a country is angry with any social media platform, he can prevent others from using it.

In a video the comedian shared on social media, he described the action taken by the federal government as outrageous, indefensible and undemocratic.

The South African comedian added that African Presidents will always remind the world what a real dictator looks like.

Comparing the actions of American former president, Donald Trump to President Buhari, Trevoh was of the belief that Trump must be jealous of the Twitter ban as he, being a powerful man of America, only complained about the social app but never a ban.
