Twitter Ban: Before you relocate to Ghana a bag of rice is N48,000 - Aisha Buhari's aide

Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity (Office of the First Lady), Aliyu Abdullah has cautioned individuals planning their exit from Nigeria as a result of the Twitter suspension on the high cost of living in Ghana.

He took to his social media page on Sunday, June 6, 2021, and wrote;

"Dear Mr. Wailer, Before you relocate to Ghana because of Twitter suspension, I wish to humbly and respectfully remind you that a litre of petrol is N393, bottle of Cock is N300 and bag of rice is N48,000 in Ghana. Best regards."

As Nigeria suspended Twitter operations in the country over a president deleted tweet, many Nigerians are disappointed at the leaders for their decision.

According to many who believe that their activeness and speed in suspending the social media platform could have been used in solving the problems ravaging the country.

Listing some of their concerns; kidnapping, banditry, killing, terrorism and bad economy among others.

As a result of these peddling issues some Nigerians have relocating to their neighbouring countries including Ghana.
