Nigeria’s first vertical portal, content curation and syndication website, mynigeria.com, is excited to announce a rebranding of its platform. The new-look will see the fast-growing platform change from its primary green colour to blue and a change in design.

The colour and design changes are geared towards offering patrons an improved and colourful user experience while maintaining the core functionality, navigation, and accessibility of the site both on desktop and mobile.

The design change would only apply to the mobile version of www.mynigeria.com whose menu buttons would have rounded corners. The user-friendly changes were implemented to give readers, viewers and users of mynigeria.com a more pleasant experience on their favourite news and infotainment platform.

Other AfricaWeb platforms including camerounweb.com; ghanaweb.com and tanzaniaweb.com would also experience changes in colours and design to give each one of them a distinctive look and feel.

mynigeria.com was launched in October 2019 to give Nigerians and our global audience accurate, relevant and up-to-date information in news, entertainment, sports, business including background information, radio and TV services.

About MyNigeria

MyNigeria is Nigeria’s first vertical portal, content curation, and syndication website launched in 2019 to offer news, background information, classifieds, radio stations, and a social network for Nigerians and the Diaspora.

The privately-owned independent and objective portal operates under the laws of the Netherlands, a legal setup that has allowed Nigerians to express themselves freely through opinion articles and comments.

MyNigeria is updated by a team of Nigerian editors and journalists across the world who ensure balanced coverage of the news by focusing on creating original content and also publishing user-generated content and curating articles from a wide range of Nigerian print and online media partners.

MyNigeria is part of the AfricaWeb Holding group, an advertising and digital solutions provider for African publishers. AfricaWeb also owns GhanaWeb.com, CamerounWeb.com and TanzaniaWeb.com among other country-specific portals as part of its goal of developing viable independent news portals as well as advertising and publishing solutions for Africa.

Its team of web developers and web designers regularly improve the technology and design of the portals built to meet the requirements of its 6 million total unique visitors each month. AfricaWeb Holding is building successful partnerships to help make the dream of creating robust online media in Africa a possibility.
