Iyoha is named as Obaseki's new chief of staff

Mr. Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo State, has named Hon. Iyoha Osaigbovo Toni as his Chief of Staff.

Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said in a statement that the appointment is effective immediately.

Iyoha, who served as the Governor's immediate Special Adviser on Political Matters (Edo South), was a member of the Edo State House of Assembly from 2015 to 2019, representing the Oredo East Constituency and rising to the post of Chief Whip.

“Hon. Iyoha Osaigbovo Toni, born on July 6, 1973, holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Ambrose Alli University (previously Edo State University) and a master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Benin,” according to Ogie (UNIBEN).

“At the moment, he is completing his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at UNIBEN. He is a Nigerian Society of Engineers member.”

Hon. Iyoha is a competent and results-driven professional with eighteen (18) years of experience working in both the public and private sectors of Nigeria.

Construction, Legislation, Public Service, and Industrial Engineering are among his areas of expertise.
