PHOTOS: Funeral prayers held at mosque for plane crash victims

The funeral service for the late Chief of Army Staff, late Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, alongside his aides who died in the military plan crash has begun.

Several Army officers and AirForce officers are presently at the mosque to send their farewell to the victims of the plane crash.

The burial service is been held at the National Mosque and the Airforce Protestant Church, Bill Clinton Drive Airport Road Abuja.

Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari in January 2021.

His appointment comes after the resignation of Tukur Buratai, a lieutenant general.
