Governor Fayemi pardons 12 inmates

12 inmates of the Nigerian Correctional Service, in Ado-Ekiti have received a pardon from Governor Kayode Fayemi.

These inmates were serving terms for their crimes of stealing and housebreaking.

In an interaction with the press, Ekiti Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Olawale Fapohunda, indicated that these men were pardoned based on recommendation from the Ekiti Committee on Prerogative of Mercy who judged them based on good conduct, remorsefulness from

The twelve beneficiaries were Akinyemi Faith, Romiluyi Femi, Adebusuyi Deji, Philip Michael, Isa Kadere, Dayo Julius and Abiodun Oluwatosin.

Others were Adubiaro Sunday, Oluwatimileyin Olanikuti, Stephen Jacob, Adewale Ojo and Sunday Oluwasola.

The inmates were warned to be of good behaviour and desist from actions that would bring them back to the facility.
