A frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 6 election, Mr Godwin Ezeemo, has promised to end the erosion menace in the state if elected.

He said priority attention would be given towards providing a lasting solution to the lingering challenge in the state.

Speaking with newsmen yesterday in Umuchu, Aguata Local Government Area of the state the governorship hopeful described erosion challenges in the state as man-made, blaming it on the poor attitude of the people, especially during building construction.

Underscoring the vital role a stable environment played in the development of any society, Ezeemo pledged to ensure that human-friendly environment laws were made to guide residents aright.
