Filling station allegedly sells water instead of fuel to unsuspecting motorists

Reports indicate that a filling station by the name Fatgbems has been accused of selling water instead of fuel motorist.

The incident was discovered yesterday, March 14, 2021, after several vehicles took notice of the liquid which fell off the pump.

Immediately, customers raised alarm of the issue after discovering their cars where been filled with water and not fuel.

Some of the cars immediately developed faults after their cars were filled.

However, the filling station Fatgbemspetroleum has released a statement apologising for the unfortunate incident.

They noted that measures are on the way to rectify the damage of the customers.

"We want to thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. All operation at the station has been shutdown since yesterday and we are currently carrying out an investigation. We understand your disappointment, and apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Also, we are trying to get in touch with all affected customers as we have sent out a statement about the incidence on all our social media channels. Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any further concerns."
