Players, officials escape death as another NPFL club bus crashes

A bus transporting the playing and coaching body of Akwa United was involved in an accident en route to honour this weekend’s match against Jigawa Golden stars in Kaduna.

The crash, which BluePrint report was a head-on collision occurred in Enugu State on Friday, March 12, 2021.

Some player and officials have been rushed to the hospital to undergo treatment.

This accident comes one month after the Nigerian Professional Football League side, Wiki tourist was also involved in an accident.
