Jigawa lawmaker dies at 65

Yuguda Hassan Kila, a lawmaker from Jigawa State is dead. He was 65.

Kila, who died on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the National Hospital in Abuja after a brief illness, represented the Gwaram Federal Constituency.

He was the Chairman of the House Committee on Customs

The retired customs comptroller was elected member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, to represent Gwaram Constituency in 2015, Linda Ikeji said.

He was re-elected for the same position in the 2019 general elections.

The Jigawa State Governor Badaru Abubakar sends his condolences to his family, the people Gwaram constituency, and the entire people of the state, according to Linda Ikeji.
