PFN, Obaseki celebrate Adeboye at 79

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria on Tuesday celebrated Pastor Enoch Adeboye on his 79th birthday and 40th anniversary as the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The President of the PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude, in a message, appreciated Adeboye for the great work he had done in the ministry.

He said, “We celebrate the grace of God upon his life. We rejoice with him and his family. In 40 years as General Overseer, he has taken the Redeemed Christian Church of God all around the world.

“Pastor Adeboye is one of the founding fathers of the PFN and the second national president, having led the fellowship from 1992-1995. He has remained an active member of the National Advisory Council, the apex administrative organ of the Fellowship.”

Similarly, the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, celebrated Adeboye on Tuesday.

The governor in a statement said, “I celebrate with you as you turn 79 years today. You continue to inspire millions of people across the world with your infectious virtue of humility and your unique insight into the word of God.”
