2023: APC chieftains recommend Yahaya Bello, David Umahi for presidency

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains have recomended Governor David Umahi and Governor Yahaya Bello as the best candidates for election 2023.

Speaker of Kogi House of Assembly, Mathew Kolawole and Ebonyi House of Assembly, Francis Nwifuru made this recommendation during a meeting.

According to both members, the two Governors are potentials with great experiences for the presidency.

According to Legit.ng who sighted The Punch, the speaker of Kogi Assembly urged that the presidency be selected from the north-central and southeast regions, adding that these regions have been neglected since democracy returned.

Mathew Kolawole noted that with Bello as president and Umahi as vice the country stands to benefit significantly.

Francis Nwifuru on the other hand appealed to the APC to select its presidential ticket to the southeast region with Umahi as president and Bello as vice president.
