Former spokesman to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has cautioned the government against killing any #EndSARS protesters as the second wave of protest begin across several states in the country.

This warning is coming as protesters are contemplating a second phase of the recent End SARS protest that led to the killing of civilians, soldiers and policemen across the nation, Daily Post said.

It will be recalled that the protest also led to the burning of police stations, breaking of prisons, carnage and massive destruction of both public and private properties.

To forestall another breakdown of law and order, the government warned against another protest, threatening to deal decisively with anyone planning to cause mayhem by hiding under the End SARS demonstration, according to The Daily Post.

In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Monday, Omokri said if any protester is killed by security agents, Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai will end up ‘seeing double’.

According to him, Nigerians are protesting because they have been pushed to the wall.

“If the Nigerian Army or Police dare kill any more peaceful, unarmed #EndSARS protesters, this time, it will be Generals #Buhari and Buratai that will end up “seeing double”. Nigerians have been pushed to the wall and they have the right to protest against an inept government,” he said.

While explaining why Nigerians must join the protest, he stated: “Join #EndsSARS because Naira is now ?500 to $1; Fuel is now ?170; Rice is now ?42k; Basket of tomato is ?1200.

“Buhari has made it too expensive to live in Nigeria. Even to die is still expensive. What do you have to lose? Let us #EndBadGoveranceInNigeria.”
