Police arrests man for selling twin girls for N150,000

The police command in Anambra State has nabbed a 31-year-old man for selling his set of twins.

The man, identified as Chijioke Chukwulota allegedly lured his ex-girlfriend who gave birth to the twins to his house and he stole the babies.

A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Haruna Mohammed disclosed that the twin girls aged about two months were sold at N150,000 to a buyer, Tina Ibeato, 31, who is based in Imo State.

Haruna said the suspects have been arrested and the children recovered in good condition.

He said investigation is ongoing into the matter and that the suspects would be brought to book soon
