The Federation of Jukun Youths has lambasted Tiv Youths for joining issues with the Army over the killing of Benue wanted gang leader Terwase Agwaza, alias ‘Gana.’

The youths, in a statement signed by the National President, Agbujoro Agya Agbujoro, said the killing of Gana was the best thing that happened to Taraba and Benue States.

They wonder why Tiv youths condemned the killing instead of applauding the military for a job well done.

The Jukun youths pointed out in the last seven years, Gana and his gang have kidnapped and killed over 300 persons from Benue and Taraba.

According to them: “As far as we are concerned, Terwase Agwaza’s killing was a far-reaching success in the fight against banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in the country.”

They urged Tiv and other groups or individuals condemning the killing to urgently retract their comments, by throwing their weights behind the Army to flush out hoodlums from Nigeria.
