Sack Letter Tales: Nigerians recount what they did after being laid off

Following the mass reports of retrenched workers all over the media space, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to recount what they did after they were sacked.

When I started working in the bank I would wake up by 12.00a.m with the pressure of how to meet targets and worrying about office meetings and MPR's. It weighed heavily on me for too long. The day I made up my mind to resign I felt a great weight lifted off my shoulders.

If my MD sacks me today, I will laugh and walk away. I'm better off working for myself than working for someone who will not appreciate your efforts. Thank God this lock down really showed me that I'm doing better than my company.
