Kano Commissioner gets sacked for celebrating Kyari's death

Governor of Kano State, Umar Ganduje, has sacked Kano State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Muazu Magaji over his remarks on Mallam Abba Kyari’s demise.

This was disclosed by Personal Assistant on New Media to Buhari, Bashir Ahmad in a tweet today.

His removal is coming after Magaji made unguarded utterances against the person of ex-Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.

The Governor has taken an action, the Commissioner has just been sacked following his unguarded utterances.

Abba Kyari died in Lagos where he was receiving treatment just a few weeks after he tested positive for COVID-19.

He has since been buried today at the Gudu Cemetery in Abuja in compliance to Islamic rites.
