President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) has extended the lockdown in Lagos, Ogun, Abuja for an extra 14 days.

Speaking about the decision today, the President noted that it was a very important and well-thought decision.

Going further, Buhari urged the general public to observe social distancing and adhere to all rules.

In addition, he thanked all the essential workers for the prompt discharge of their duties.

"We will get over this pandemic and get over this. I thank you all for listening and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria," the President concluded.
