Four left in critical condition after involvement car crash in Kano

A total of nine people were involved in a car crash in Kano State that left four of the victims in critical condition, according to reports.

The accident happened on Wednesday after Toyota Hiace commercial bus they were travelling in collided with a Tricycle in Rano, Kano State.

While Kano firefighters pulled the four victims out unconscious, reports revealed that five others suffered varying degrees of injury.

The Kano Fire Service Public Relations Officer, Mallam Seidu Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, said, following a phone call from one Nasiru Zaria around 8.45 pm, firefighters rushed to the scene.

According to him, the firefighters rescued four passengers alive but unconscious and rushed five other occupants, who suffered varying degrees of injury, to the hospital.

He gave the number plate of the Toyota Hiace as XA 218 TWY.

He said, “There were nine persons involved in the accident; five victims were rescued alive, while four were unconscious. All the victims were rushed to Kura General Hospital, Kano.”
