Seven die in bloody crash along Lagos-Abeokuta highway (Photo)

Seven people have been feared dead in an accident which occured around the Old Tollgate area of the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, Ogun State, involving a Dangote truck and a danfo.

The unfortunate incident occurred this afternoon.

The accident which did not go too well with bystanders developed into a full blown riot as the angry mob set the truck involved in the accident ablaze.

PHOTOS: Truck crushes Danfo in Ogun ------- An irate mob protesting an accident around the Old Tollgate area of the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway, Ogun State, set a truck involved in the accident ablaze on Saturday afternoon. The truck’s driver was suspected to have caused the accident that claimed about seven lives. It was gathered that the crash involved a total of 17 people consisting of six male, two male children, eight female and a female child. The PUNCH learnt that the driver of the cement-laden truck was overspeeding when its brakes failed and it crashed into a Danfo and a white-coloured Sienna. -------- #accident #ogun #danfo #punchnewspapers
