We are an unteachable nation, insurgency will only get worse, Salkida says

Ahmad Salkida Ahmad Salkida

Conflict and terrorism reporter, Ahmad Salkida has lashed at the Federal Government for the lax attitude it employed in handling the insurgency that has slowly ravaged North-Eastern Nigeria.

Salkida who was truly angry at the state of things in the North, said the nation was not serious in tackling the Boko Haram menace.

Taking to Twitter to express his displeasure at the poor manner in which the Government tackled the over 10-year reign of terror unchecked in the North, Salkdia admitted that there was no hope or glimmer of light in sight. He predicted that things would get worse after now.

He explained that as a conflict reporter, he had given the Government enough hints to end the menace but the Buhari regime have just refused to take the hint.

"We are an unteachable nation, we are simply not serious. There is nothing new to say anymore, I have said all the things that need to be averred in the last 10 years about the conflict in northern Nigeria. With this current mindset, it will only grow worse," Salkida yesterday tweeted, voicing out his disappointment.
