The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has approved the reopening of Quilox night club situated at Victoria Island, Lagos.

This is coming a few days after the night club was sealed by the agency over noise pollution following its annual 36-hours party.

A statement issued on Saturday by LASEPA’s General Manager, Dr Dolapo Fasawe, sees the club agreeing to ensure that vehicles belonging to its customers are properly parked.

”We are reopening the club for operation as it has fulfilled our conditions and complied with the extant law guiding its operations.

”The club was sanctioned and fined for environmental nuisances and we ensure total compliance before reopening,” Fasawe said.

MyNigeria reported that the owner of Quilox night club, Hon. Shina Peller of the Federal House of Representatives, was arrested and detained on allegation that he invaded a police station with thugs.

The lawmaker who has since regained his freedom had allegedly invaded the police station with the thugs to enforce the release of vehicles belonging to his customers which were seized for causing traffic gridlock.
