Quilox night club shut down by Lagos State Government

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has sealed Quilox night club in Victoria Island over noise Pollution and Traffic Congestion.

This was disclosed via a tweet by Jibril Gawat, the Special Adviser to the State governor on Monday, 23rd, 2019.

This is coming a few hours after MyNigeria reported that Honorable Shina Peller, owner of Quilox, was detained at Maroko police station.

His press secretary, Kola Popoola, disclosed that Shina Peller was detained at the station when he went there to bail some customers of his night club.

The customers were arrested for parking their cars on the road side during the annual 36-hours non-stop event at the club.

Popoola revealed that Shina Peller had notified authorities in Lagos State of a likely traffic gridlock due to the event.

He also revealed that the lawmaker's phone was seized from him on getting to the station.
