House of Representatives member, Shina Peller detained at Maroko Police Station

Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Shina Peller has been detained at the Maroko Police Station in Lagos.

This was disclosed by his press secretary, Kola Popoola, who stated that Shina Peller was detained at the police station where he went to bail some customers of his Quilox night club.

The customers were arrested for parking on the roadside during a show organized by the night club.

According to Popoola, Shina Peller had notified authorities in Lagos of a likely traffic gridlock due to an annual 36-hours non-stop event at the club situated in Victoria Island.

He added that Shina Peller was harassed and his phone seized on getting to the station where he was to bail the customers.

Popoola, however, called on the Commissioner of Police in the state to intervene on the issue.

Shina Peller is the honorable representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency of Oyo State.
