Celtic and Porto yesterday recorded away results in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League.
Both teams survived away challenges with their advancement hopes in fine shape after first legs of the third qualifying rounds.
Many of the ties remain tight as the first five matches did on Tuesday with PAOK and Ajax playing out a 2-2 draw and Club Brugge recording a narrow 1-0 home win against Dynamo Kiev.
On Wednesday, Porto beat Krasnodar 1-0 with Sergio Oliveira smashing a 90th minute free kick home to give the Portuguese giants a vital away goal heading back to Portugal.
It was CFR Cluj 1-1 Celtic.
James Forrest equalised for Celtic giving them an away goal heading into a second leg which is still very tight.
In the other games of Wednesday night, it was Istanbul Basaksehir 0-1 Olympiacos; FC Basel 1-2 LASK ; Maribor 1-3 Rosenborg.
