'Your jobs are secured' - Tinubu tells aides after Supreme Court upheld him as President

Following the Supreme Court's affirming his election as Nigeria's president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has informed his aides that their positions are now assured.

After the Supreme Court upheld Tinubu's victory On Thursday, October 26, a video of his aides visiting his office at the Aso Rock Villa to offer congratulations for the win is making rounds.

As they showered him praises, Tinubu informed them that their employment had finally been secured.

The Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party's appeal was dismissed and told that it lacked merit.

Atiku Abubakar filed an appeal with the Supreme Court in an attempt to overturn the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal's (PEPT) ruling upholding Tinubu's election as president.

However, the court rejected his appeal and maintained Tinubu's win as President.
