Singer Davido criticized NURTW President Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, after he opposed the Osun State Government’s move to suspend the union’s operations statewide.

Recently, Governor Ademola Adeleke suspended NURTW activities at motor parks across Osun State, ceased transport levies, and ordered security forces to arrest anyone operating under the union’s banner following violent clashes among factions.

In response, through his deputy Aliyu Issa Ore during an inauguration, MC Oluomo declared that the state government lacks the authority to suspend the union’s activities.

“Today, we heard that the state governor in Osun suspended the activities of our union, which they don’t have that power. Not a single state governor has power to suspend the activities of the union, because we are not under any state.”

Davido, who is Governor Adeleke’s nephew, fired back in a post on social media, mocking the NURTW president’s remarks. He wrote:

“MC Oluomo wey no fit compose sentence dey talk. Kudosuuuu.”
