You can hail President Tinubu's policies without supporting APC - Reno Omokri fires

Reno Omokri, a key member of the dissolved Atiku/Okowa campaign organization has responded to several social commentaries that he hailing the policies of President Bola Tinubu because he is seeking some political appointment from the new administration.

Omokri is one of the few members of the opposition party who have applauded President Bola Tinubu for his policies since he assumed office on May 29.

His applause for the former National Leader of the party has been misconstrued by political commentators who share the opinion that he is seeking some favor from the ruling government.

According to him in a post on his Instagram page, "You can support Tinubu's good policies while being against the APC".

He wrote: Nigerians must understand that there is a difference between supporting a policy and supporting a party. Democracy does not mean that if you voted for Labour Party, you must be against anything Tinubu does, good or bad. No. That is stupidity, not democracy. You can support Tinubu's good policies while being against the APC.

It does not mean that you want to join the APC or that you are looking for a post from Tinubu. Learn to be objective, not subjective. Tinubu will have some good policies. Like his policy of choosing service chiefs from almost every geopolitical zone. That is a commendable policy. Singling out Emefiele for a witch-hunt is a bad policy.

The only Person you are meant to support, irrespective of His policy, is God. The only being you are meant to oppose, regardless of his policy, is satan. But everybody else should be weighed on a scale and be judged in an impartial and unbiased manner. That is what separates us from animals.
