Women hail APC for bribing them with N3,000, pasta, ankara in exchange for votes

A video of making rounds of some women in Kebbi state praising the All Progressives Congress APC, for giving them items in order to vote for them.

On Saturday, April 15, during the supplementary election held in the state, some women were seen holding packs of pastas, fabrics, and cash.

When asked where they got it from, the women said it was the broom party that gave them N3000 and the other items listed above for voting for the party.

Another woman was asked and she said the APC gave her the pastas, wrappers and N3000 just like others.

The video which was shared by Channels TV on Twitter reported that the voters spoke at the Baban Dutsi Model Primary School which has three polling units namely: Karyo, Umijin Nana and Baban Dutsi.

The supplementary governorship, national and state Assembly elections is been conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission in 24 states of the federation.

According to INEC, the supplementary election is being held following the malpractices and violence that erupted during the March 18 election.
