Jelicia Westhoff, who is alleged to have been in a relationship with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, has publicly accused the footballer of neglecting his responsibilities as a father.

In a series of posts shared on her Instagram Stories, Westhoff alleged that the Udinese goalkeeper portrayed her as a "bitter baby mama" despite her unwavering support throughout their relationship.

Her outburst comes shortly after Okoye dominated social media conversations following his widely circulated outing with American rapper Cardi B.

Westhoff also alleged that she had been reluctant to pursue legal action over what she described as an abusive relationship because she feared the consequences it would have on their son.

"I was so scared to take you to court, so scared to press charges, so scared to do anything, because I knew you would punish our child."

She further rejected claims that she was motivated by financial gain, insisting she had been with Okoye since 2020, before he established himself as a professional footballer.

Responding to critics, she wrote: "You really think this is about a woman? Don't be stupid, please. My lawyers have been sending him mails for weeks and months to take care of his son."

As of the time of this report, Okoye has not publicly responded to the allegations.
