The former Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa has been released by the Department of State Service after spending more than 134 days in custody.
He was released on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu approved his suspension as Chairman of the EFCC on June 14, 2023 and ordered that his activities while in office should be investigated.
A video of Bawa after he was set free has since gone viral.
The man was lavished with so much love from family and friends as they collectively hugged him and shouted happily on top of their voices.
