Activist Aisha Yesufu has criticized Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory in a video circulating the internet.

In the video, Yesufu slammed Wike for his recent plan to unseat Senator Ireti Kingibe, calling him President Bola Tinubu’s houseboy.

Senator Ireti Kingibe, during an interview with Arise Television, expressed frustration over being sidelined in the administration of the FCT.

In response, Wike vowed to unseat her in the 2027 election, which has sparked backlash.

Displeased by the Minister’s comments, Aisha Yesufu spoke in pidgin saying:

“Wike thinks he has a monopoly on rudeness and speaking out of turn. He is acting as if he is superior. Go and serve your master. The roads you are fixing in the middle of Abuja, go to where the police commission is, the road there is in terrible condition. When I visited Kuje, there were no proper roads. You are fixing new roads, which is good, but do not speak nonsense. Wike, do you think people in Abuja are like people in Rivers? Do you think Abuja residents are hungry? Even if some are hungry, not everyone is.

You are nothing but a mere follower. Remember how you were humbled in Rivers? The same people who used to respect you are now telling you not to come back. You cannot come to Abuja and act like a lord over us. If the Senator we voted for is misbehaving, we will address it. Your arrogance is not justified. We all have our flaws. Death is inevitable for all of us. If I see you in the afterlife, I will treat you the same way I do now.

So, the idea that you can unseat Ireti Kingibe, have you unseated yourself? Is being a houseboy a respectable job? After criticizing APC and compromising your values, look at where you are now. Your influence is fading. You are just a pawn for Tinubu because of your nuisance value.”
