Wike is an expired drug - Dino Melaye fires Rivers State Governor on Live TV

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye has fired back at Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike who described his emergence as PDP gubernatorial candidate as a joke.

The spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa campaign organization at the just-ended presidential elections opines that Wike's latest jab at him shouldn't be taken seriously.

Recall that Wike rubbished Senator Dino Melaye’s alleged governorship ambition, saying the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain does not have what it takes to contest for the Kogi state’s governorship.

"Wike is an expired drug that is about to the taken off the shelf. I wont waste my time on someone who is about to leave office and suffering from trauma," Dino said in an exclusive interview on Arise TV.

Meanwhile, Dino Melaye has claimed that God bankrolled his primary election.

He said the anointing oil he gave delegates to drink led to the “magic” of him winning the primary election.

He spoke while appearing on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme on Tuesday.

According to Melaye: “Anyway, I’m not a staff of the EFCC or ICPC. I won’t know if there was money, but at my level, if I cannot finance a primary, then there is a problem somewhere.

“God bankrolled me, I bank with the Almighty God. I gave my delegates anointing oil for mobilisation and it did the magic.

“I just told you that I believe in Phil’ 4:19, that God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus, and I’m telling you that He did it.”
