An interesting moment between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his former Minister of Solid Minerals, Oby Ezekwesili, has generated a buzz on social media.
In the video that has now gone viral, Obasanjo gently knocked the 61-year-old after she told him to say "thank you" at his 88th birthday dinner held on Sunday, March 2 2025, at The Delborough Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Ezekwesili was seen publicly telling Obasanjo to say “Thank you very much” to people.
The video showed the former president's reluctance to utter the words until she asked him to take the microphone to thank the people.
Obasanjo took the microphone and thanked the guests at the event.
