Why I won’t challenge my loss in court - Dino Melaye explains

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the just-ended Kogi State Governorship election, Senator Dino Melaye has stated that he will not seek legal redress following his electoral loss.

According to Melaye, he has taken this decision because the judiciary has allegedly become an arm of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He made this known at a media briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, November 29.

He added that Nigerians are aware that the judiciary under the Tinubu's administration has become the “lost hope” instead of the “last hope” of the average citizen.

Melaye concluded that it was utterly shameful that the judiciary watched helplessly as members of the APC bragged of their control over the judiciary during campaigns.
