Popular content creator and actress, Ashmushy, has described 2025 as a year of personal and professional recovery, a period defined by growth, experimentation, and spiritual reflection.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she shared the highs and lows, lessons learned, and strategies that shaped her year.
“Describing my 2025, I would term it a year of recovery because that is the first word that comes to mind. I have my reasons,” Ashmushy said.
Asked about one thing she did in 2025 that scared her but ended up being worth it, she cited travelling to America without a clear plan and introducing her new show.
“I went to America without a plan, just seeking more knowledge, ideas, and business opportunities. I also introduced a new show on YouTube called Court of Chaos,” she revealed.
When asked to describe the theme song of her life this year, Ashmushy turned to her faith for inspiration, citing Chandler Moore’s gospel hit Omemma.
“A song that comes to mind is Chandler Moore’s Omemma: ‘You’re always on time, you can’t do no wrong, Omemma… you leave the ninety-nine, always for the one.’ That’s like the song I sang all through the year. It’s a song about Jesus, God taking the wheel,” she explained.
Ashmushy also highlighted the evolution of her content style in 2025, noting that embracing a calmer approach made her work more engaging. “I tried sounding calmer because I used to think I had to be loud, shout, or be aggressive for my videos to be interesting. But several times I tried a calmer tone, and it worked,” she shared.
