Why I can't endorse Peter Obi - Moghalu

Former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu, has revealed why he cannot endorse presidential hopeful, Peter Obi.

This was after a question was directed at him by an X user, @Plato48466760.

The X user wrote, "@MoghaluKingsley
,why is it difficult for you to publicly endorse or support PO same way Prof. Pat. Utomi, has been doing?
Is it about his candidacy, competence or ethnic group ?
Don't be offended, sir , you know that we love you to the highest heavens."

In response, Moghaly stated that he's currently engaged in some professional activities that bar him from making public endorsement.

He said, "Thank you @Plato48466760. As you might know, I resigned COMPLETELY from partisan politics in Nigeria in November 2022. This was publicly announced. Consequently, I have been and remain engaged in professional activities that bar me from partisan political endorsements or involvement. I hope this helps. It is a matter of professional livelihood. Simple. I have alway had a “second address”. As a citizen I have the right to vote for a candidate of my choice in an election. My meeting with @PNMbah was focused on governance, not on partisan politics. My statement in my post was also made in the same context. Thanks."
