Why Buhari has a hand in Sanusi's dethronement - Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has given a reason why he believes the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has a hand in the dethronement of Muhammadu Sanusi II as Emir of Kano.

MyNigeria.com reported that a State House press release dissociated the President from the crisis rocking the Kano Emirate.

A statement issued reads in part: “President Buhari has no involvement whatsoever in the dethronement of HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II from the position of Emir of Kano. All such insinuations are untrue, malicious & politically motivated"

Reno Omokri who reacted to the press release stated that Buhari being the Commander-In-Chief can't claim to be unaware that operatives of the DSS are currently guarding Sanusi who has been reportedly placed under house arrest.

He tweeted: "How can General @MBuharu deny that he had a hand in Sanusi’s dethronement? What an unintelligent lie. Sanusi is being guarded by DSS agents. ONLY General Buhari, as Commander-in-Chief, can deploy armed DSS officials. @NGRPresident, respect yourself and lie less!".
