Ambassador-designate Reno Omokri has revealed why prominent members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) refused to accompany former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, to court.

According to him, they know the implication of El-Rufai stating on live TV that he listened to the phone calls of the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, through a hacker.

He said this was unlike in 2014 when prominent members of the opposition, including former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, accompanied El-Rufai to court when he had issues with the ruling party.

Omokri wrote on Facebook, "Why no ADC leader followed el-Rufai to EFCC, unlike in 2014.

"On Monday, January 27, 2014, after Nasir el-Rufai lied that he was on a hot list of persons to be killed by then President Jonathan, he was invited to the DSS, and Rotimi Amaechi went with him. They were both then in the All Progressives Congress.

"But this time around, not a single major chieftain of his new political party followed him to his interrogation. Waziri Atiku Abubakar was not there. Peter Obi was absent. Even Amaechi, who followed him in 2014, has vanished. He is no longer el-Rufa'i's driver!
Nasir was all alone except for a crowd that looked like they were hired. Why?

"Because they know the implications. By revealing to Nigerians and the world that he is part of a cr1m1nal hacking syndicate, Nasir el-Rufa'i has become a pariah. He has been given a long rope and has hung himself. And now his associates are dining with him using a very long spoon.

"But even more importantly, each of the above-mentioned African Democratic Congress leaders is now aware that even they can be hacked and wiretapped by el-Rufa'i and his criminal gang of hackers.

"In fact, maybe the Jeffrey Epstein of Nigeria and his criminal gang have already happened to them! If Nasir el-Rufa'i has your number, be afraid. Be very afraid! "
