Whoever advised you to suspend Twitter is your biggest enemy - FFK tells Buhari

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has also added his voice to the many who are displeased with the federal government suspension of Twitter operations in Nigeria.

The Information Ministry yesterday, June 4, 2021, announced that it has suspended Twitter operations in Nigeria.

Their action follows the deletion of a tweet President Buhari made which violated the standards of the platform.


FFK in reaction described the FG's move as 'absurd' and counterproductive.

He noted that whoever advised the president to take this decision is his biggest enemy.

He said,

"Suspending @Twitter from Nigeria simply because they removed a dangerous, irresponsible & insensitive tweet by @MBuhari is the most absurd and counterproductive move that the FG could have made. Whoever advised Mr. President to make this indefensible move is his biggest enemy", Femi Fani Kayode said.
