What to know about the newly elected Speaker of Osun

The new Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun is a man of many parts.

He is the lawmaker representing Odo-Otin State Constituency in the state Assembly.

He was elected as the Speaker of the 8th session of the Assembly on Monday, June 6, 2023.

Adewale Olumide Egbedun was born on June 29, 1985. He attended Taoheed Nursery and Primary school, Offa between 1990 and 1996; Offa Grammar School and Federal Polytechnic Staff Secondary School, Offa between 1996 and 2002.

He studied Business Information System at University of East London.

He is a farmer with interest in cattle rearing as well as Importation of cars and heavy duty machines.

He is an An IT expert working with Boxypay Money Transfer, USA. He is a registered real estate agent to Emaar properties, Dubai

He was elected on 19th March, 2023.
