What Peter Obi's supporters are doing is more peaceful than what Buhari's supporters did in 2011 - Shehu Sani

Former Senator, Shehu Sani, has said that Peter Obi supporters popularly known as "Obidients" are more peaceful than President Muhammadu Buhari's supporters.

Reflecting on the past, Shehu Sani noted that what Obi's supporters are doing in 2023, are more peaceful than what Buhari's supporters did in 2011.

He urged Nigerians not to have a short memory and recall what transpired in the past and then they will appreciate the present.

Shehu Sani recalled how Buhari supporters scattered the Northern states with violence when Buhari lost the presidential election in 2011.

He then compared it to the present attitude of Peter Obi's supporters "Obidients".

He tweeted:

"NO patriot should trigger or encourage anarchy; but we shouldn’t also ‘shorten our memories’; what Peter’s supporters are doing in 2023 is more peaceful than what Buhari’s supporters did in 2011. You only need to recall the past in order appreciate the present."
