What Messi said when asked if he would pass to Ronaldo if they played in the same team

Barcelona star player, Lionel Messi has said that he would pass the ball to Cristiano Ronaldo if they find themselves playing in the same thing.

Messi and Ronaldo had a heated rivalry when the latter was still in Spain with Real Madrid which still continues even after a move to Juventus.

"I guess so, in the end, yes," he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Messi also spoke about Ronaldo's scoring ability which has seen him score in every game he's played in this year.

"It's normal that he continues to score, he is a predatory striker, he loves to score, any day he plays he will score.

"He has many good attributes as a forward and at the minimum, he converts."

Last year just before the Champions League draw, Ronaldo praised the rivalry between him and Messi and how they controlled the football world for 15 years.

"We have shared the stage 15 years. I don't know if that's happened before -- the same two guys on the same stage all the time.

"Of course, we have a good relationship. We haven't had dinner together yet, but I hope in the future.

"We had that battle in Spain. I pushed him and he pushed me as well. So it's good to be part of the history of football."
