'We will all be second-class citizens abroad' - Daddy Freeze reacts as Texas police shuts down hall used by Nigerian community

Popular talk-show host Daddy Freeze has reacted to a viral video showing the moment some Nigerians were evicted from a Texas Hotel, the venue of their event by the police on the invite of the management of the Texas Hotel.

Reacting to the video, Daddy Freeze simply wrote "we will all be second-class citizens abroad".

According to the reports, the Texas hotel management invited the police to shut down the cultural event held by the Mbaise community.

Linda Ikeji reports that a man speaking in the background said the hall had fulling paid for, however, the management of Westin Hotel at Irvine, Texas, waited till the event started, to invite the police to shut it down.

A source who sent the video to LIB wrote;

“This is an embarrassing situation for the people of Mbaise and Nigeria as a whole. The manager of Westin Hotel Irvine Texas just shut down an Mbaise convention while the event is on going.. We stand with Ndi Igbo home and abroad... let’s build our country... We can do it. Stop being humiliated and rejected home and abroad.”
