The US Africa Command (AFRICOM) has vowed to pursue and neutralise any terrorist threats in Nigeria.

This was stated by General Dagvin Anderson following a meeting with Nigeria's National Security Adviser, NSA Nuhu Ribadu.

"We remain committed to protecting our people and our interests. In coordination with the Armed Forces of Nigeria, our operations in Northeastern Nigeria underscores the value of our partnership. Make no mistake, our two nations will relentlessly pursue and neutralise terrorist threats," he said.
