We’ll do more to tackle challenges-Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said his administration would put in more work to tackle the challenges being faced by citizens.

According to a statement issued by Sanwo-Olu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gbenga Akosile, on Sunday May 8, the governor said this during his acceptance speech when he was honoured with the 2021 ‘Sun Governor of the year award’ in Lagos.

He said, “Indeed, our humble contribution to governance has been recognised in various quarters locally and internationally.

“The Sun award is a key award for us because it comes with another clarion call for us to put in more work to bring more solutions to challenges being faced by our people. We dedicate this award, humbly, to the people of Lagos who we are committed to serving.”

The Lagos governor shared the prize with his counterparts from Bauchi and Imo states, Governors Bala Mohammed and Hope Uzodimma, who were also presented with awards at the event.

The media group commended Sanwo-Olu for his infrastructural projects in the state.
