We have excellent teachers in my school - Kamsiyochukwu

Umeh Kamsiyochukwu, the top scorer in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination has hailed her teachers for their role in her latest achievement.

Kamsiyochukwu, a 16-year-old got an outstanding mark of 360, making her the highest achiever in the 2023 UTME.

Speaking in an interview on Arise Television Morning Show on Friday, July 7, she said that the effort and sacrifices of her teachers was a key factor to her success.

"We have excellent teachers in my school. I have never seen teachers like the one we have in my school. They are so willing, they want us to succeed at all cost and they are willing to make any sacrifice."

"Some of them leave their houses at 5 am or 6 and go back home as late at 10 pm and 11 pm in the night just trying to teach us, drill us and make sure that all the children are set for these exams."

Meanwhile, the management of Deeper Life High School has celebrated her for achieving impressive scores.
