We can generate N20m in four months – KWASAA

The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) says it is capable of generating N20 million in addition to its earlier target for year 2021, if adequately funded by government.

The Director General of the agency, Mr Omotayo Olorunshola, said this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on Wednesday, by his Press Secretary, Mr Abubakar Owolabi.

He said that the provision of additional N10 million to the agency would enhance its performance for huge revenue generation for the state, as 2021 fiscal year draws closer.

He said that the agency was working round the clock to ensure it met and surpass the revenue generation target to enable government deliver more dividends of democracy.

On equipment, Olorunshola said the agency needed poster remover machine to ease their job, adding that manual remover is cumbersome.

“We need remover machine and mobility that will help us do the job and generate more revenue for the government more as we are moving towards the election year.

“The agency must up its task in regulating the billboards and outdoor activities in the state,” he said.

The director-general also called for the provision of operational vehicles and Information Communication Technology (ICT) facility for effective data and contact of clients not resident in the state.
