'We can bet it' - NNPP predicts loss for Tinubu in 2027, gives reason

The national chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has been accused by the opposition New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) of future failure to support and help President Bola Ahmed Tinubu win the 2027 elections.

According to the Daily Trust, Kwankwaso was responding to Ganduje's insult, which referred to him as a "serial loser."

According to a statement released by Yakubu Shendam, the NNPP's national publicity secretary, on Thursday, September 28, because of the numerous scandals connected to Ganduje, no well-meaning Nigerian should take him seriously.

The NNPP claimed that only in Nigeria could a "morally bankrupt, treacherous, and corrupt person" like Ganduje still be granted prominence, and that the former governor is already a liability to the APC. This was also reported in This Day Newspaper.

The statement partly reads: “Take it or leave it, Ganduje is a liability to Tinubu, a liability to his party APC and a liability to the country, and I can bet that with Ganduje as the National Chairman, President Bola Tinubu is going to lose the 2027 presidential election because Nigerians will not vote for him.”

It added: “Every Nigerian knows the story behind the only election he claimed to have won in 2019. It was yet, another election he lost woefully.”
